Over 14, 000 Doses of Sinopharm Vaccine available in Sarajevo

According to the announcements of the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, the Ministry of Health of Canton Sarajevo and the Coordination Team for Vaccination in Zetra informs the citizens that the first 11,000 doses of Sinopharm vaccine and 3,430 doses of the mentioned vaccine for revaccination are expected to arrive at this vaccination point next week.

Accordingly, it will be possible for citizens who received the first dose of Sinopharm and AstraZeneca vaccine outside the Sarajevo Canton to be revaccinated with the mentioned vaccines in Zetra, while revaccination with the Pfizer vaccine is still not possible.

“The arrival of Pfizer vaccines was not announced in the mentioned delivery, and we have no information whether and when the vaccines of this manufacturer will be delivered to the Sarajevo Canton,” explained the Ministry of Health of KS.

As previously announced, vaccination will begin at the beginning of next week at the checkpoints in the health centers in Vogošća, Hadžići and Ilijaš, where Sinopharm vaccines will be available to citizens.

“We call on all adult citizens of Sarajevo Canton to take advantage of the still favorable epidemiological situation and to perform immunization, so that we can enter a possible new wave with as little risk as possible,” the Ministry said.
