The presidents of the City Election Commissions (GIK) have made a breakdown of the turnout in the early elections for the president of the Republika Srpska, by 3 p.m. in local communities in the RS.

In Prijedor, 15,698 citizens, or 18.35 percent of those registered on the voter list, voted in the early elections for the president of the Republika Srpska by 3 p.m., the president of the City Election Commission Željko Škondrić told Srna.

He stated that the highest turnout was in Donja Dragotinja – 36.7 percent, while the lowest was at one polling station in Hambarine – 1.24 percent, where seven voters voted.

Škondrić added that they had received assurances from “Elektrodistribucija” that they would restore electricity supply in Kamičani and Babići after dark, or in about an hour.

According to him, the voting is going on without any disturbances or crowds at the polling stations.

“I believe that we will have the first preliminary, incomplete results by midnight,” added Škondrić.

Around 85,000 citizens have registered to vote in Prijedor, voting is taking place at 129 regular polling stations, and two mobile teams have been deployed.

In Bijeljina, 26.55 percent of voters registered on the voter list had voted by 3 p.m., which is less than in last year’s elections when turnout in the same period was 39 percent, said the president of the City Election Commission Dijana Savić Božić.

“Everything is going on peacefully, so far there have been no complaints to the GIK,” Božić emphasized. She added that she expected a higher turnout.

111,679 voters have the right to vote, and more than 600 observers are on the ground.

30 percent of voters in Pale had voted by 3 p.m., or 5,959 out of a total of 19,970 registered voters.

The president of the Pale Municipal Election Commission, Predrag Slijepčević, said that the process was going smoothly.

7,156 voters, or 18.17 percent of registered voters, had voted in Prnjavor by 3 p.m., the City Election Commission confirmed.

The highest turnout was recorded at polling stations in the “Nikola Tesla” Elementary School in Prnjavor, Kokori and Potočani.

GIK President Novka Bijelonic Petrovic stated that there was no electricity at some polling stations and that communication was difficult, but that the elections were taking place without major problems.

In the municipality of Srbac, 5,598 voters had voted by 3 p.m., or about 32 percent of those registered.

The president of the Municipal Election Commission, Duško Mitrić, said that everything was going smoothly and without complaints.

The highest turnout was recorded in the villages of Bardača, Kladari and Glamočani and in the Srbac Cultural Center, while the fewest voters voted in Gornja Lepenica, Kobaš and at Stirokart dva.

17,344 voters have the right to vote in the municipality of Srbac at 33 regular polling stations, along with two mobile teams.

In Oštra Luka, 725 voters, or 17.6 percent of those registered, had voted by 3 p.m., said the president of the Municipal Election Commission, Ivana Đukić.

She added that the voting is going on without major problems, but that three polling stations are still without power.

Voting is taking place at seven polling stations and with one mobile team, and 4,110 voters are eligible to vote.

3,614 voters, or 29.84 percent of those registered, had voted in East Sarajevo by 3 p.m., said the president of the Municipal Election Commission, Mira Škrba Tomić.

The process is going on without problems.

3,800 voters, or 25.23 percent of those registered, had voted in the Šamac area by 3 p.m., said the president of the Municipal Election Commission, Ružica Mokrić.

She stated that there were no crowds and that the voting was going on in an orderly manner.

The highest turnout was recorded in the local community of Škarić – 48.91 percent, while the lowest was at the Obudovac two polling station, where only one voter voted.

The Banja Luka City Election Commission (GIK) has released new data on the turnout of citizens of that city in the early elections in the Republika Srpska.

As Dubravko Malinić, president of the GIK Banja Luka, said, 28.59 percent of voters registered in the central voter list had voted by 3 p.m.

He added that this was a slightly lower turnout compared to previous years, and as he said, the voting was going smoothly and no major irregularities were recorded, N1 writes.
