United States (U.S.) Special Envoy for Electoral Reform in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Matthew Palmer, and Director of the European External Action Service, Angelina Eichhorst will visit BiH again next week.
As it was found out, they will arrive in Sarajevo on January 26th to continue the dialogue and find solutions to the current political crisis with the aim of focusing on electoral reforms.
The new visit comes during a political crisis, a blockade of state institutions, but also sanctions imposed by the U.S. on Milorad Dodik, SNSD leader and BiH presidency member over corruption and unconstitutional decisions.
When it comes to negotiations on the election law, it is planned for them to last four days, from January 26th-30th. The key date for the agreement is the weekend, January 29th and 30th, when all party, government, and opposition leaders should gather.
One of the solutions is for the negotiations to be held outside Sarajevo.
