The main tourist attraction in the Tuzla Canton – the Pannonian Lakes in Tuzla – was visited by 180.000 swimmers in July. This number represents the best realization of the plan of visits in July until now, and August could reach a record number of swimmers.

A large number of citizens from Tuzla and tourists from other parts of B&H and Europe are seeking salvation from the heat in exactly this popular place.

Since August 25th, amended working hours are in force. Thus, gates for visitors are opened from 8.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m., while the last ticket sale is available at 6.00 p.m. New working hours are being used in the pre and post season, while swimmers are allowed to swim from 7.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m. during the season.

This season is one of the best ones since the opening of the Pannonian lakes, and according to official data, since August 1st, more than 210.000 tickets have been sold at Panonica.
