Practical training on the development of project ideas and preparation of project proposals began today in the premises of the Office of the Government of the West Herzegovina Canton for European Integration in Siroki Brijeg. The training is intended primarily for trainees deployed in the West Herzegovina Canton (ZHK) Government Office for European Integration in order to gain the necessary knowledge and practical experience for writing projects as well as strengthening the own capacities of the ZHK Government Office for European Integration.
Namely, the workshop is based on the development of a new tourist offer in ZHK, ie. developing the idea of panoramic hot air balloon flights over Herzegovina.
According to the ZHK Government Office for European Integration, ZHK in its strategic documents focused on the development of active and rural tourism, and this type of tourist offer in the future would complement existing facilities such as hiking, zip-line, free climbing, cycling, paragliding, and other facilities.
In addition to strengthening capacity and gaining practical knowledge and experience, the goal is, through a series of workshops, to prepare a project proposal that will be ready for funding, ie that will apply for future open calls for funding projects in the tourism sector.
This is the first in a series of practical workshops that the ZHK Government Office for European Integration will hold in 2021 and through which a number of project ideas will be developed and prepared for applying for future open calls and competitions, the Government added.
