Peace March in Honor of Bosniaks of Kotor-Varoš Killed in 1992

kotor varosOrganization of the families of detained and missing persons “Vrbanja” Kotor -Varoš began marking of the 22nd anniversary of the killing of 161 Bosniaks in the municipality of Kotor-Varoš.

Yesterday, the convoy departed from Karaula in the municipality of Travnik, over Bešpelj, Skender Vakuf to the village Večići in the municipality of Kotor Varoš, where on 3 November 3 the welcoming will be organized or participants of the Peace March.

The leader of the Peace March Mirsad Tatar told FENA that this march is approximately one hundred kilometers long, and this year it has gathered some 70 people from Travnik, Kotor-Varoš, but also from other parts of BiH and abroad.

The participants pay homage and are preserving the memory of 161 Bosniaks of Kotor-Varoš, who in the days from 1 to 3 November 1992, were captured and then went missing in their breakthrough towards the free territory of the municipality of Travnik.

No one has yet been convicted for multiple crimes against Bosniaks of Kotor-Varoš.
