At the trial for the crimes committed in the Kotor-Varos area, witnesses of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) recalled the expulsion from the houses and the taking away of the men, whom they learned had been killed.

The witness Semina Lihovic said that she lived with her husband and children in Dabovac until the army came and drove the locals out of their houses.

She stated that the men were beaten at a fence, and then those people continued to pick up the population from other villages.

“The men were killed in Kadira’s barn in Cejvani,” said Lihovic, adding that this was said by the two young men who survived.

She testified at the trial of Bosko Peulic, Slobodan Zupljanin, Manojlo Tepic, Janko Trivic and Nedeljko Djekanovic, accused of persecution in the Kotor-Varos area – murder, deportation, imprisonment, torture, rape and forced labor.

Munevera Avdic stated that on June 25th, her husband Miralem was taken from the house where they lived in Kukavice.

”Don’t get your hopes up, son. He was shot in front of the Health Center in Kotor-Varos“, the witness recalled the words that were passed on to her son by the people who were present when he was killed.

The trial continues on October 27th, Detektor reports.
