PM Novalic announced the construction of the Fast Road

novalicA delegation of the Federation of BiH (FBiH), led by the Prime Minister Fadil Novalić and Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Nermin Džindić, met yesterday with the Prime Minister of Bosna-Podrinje Canton (BPK) Gorazde Emir Oković and members of BPK Government. The aim of the meeting was to discuss issues of importance for this Canton, as well as the implementation of the Reform agenda.

Prime Minister Okovic expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Novalić and the Government of the Federation, on whose initiative Parliament adopted a law that might give the status of the City to Gorazde.

Especially was highlighted the issue of construction of a fast road Gorazde-Sarajevo, with gratitude to the Government of FBiH, with whose help this project has been included in the strategy of transport and 100 priority projects the Federal Government.

Prime Minister BPK Okovic informed the delegation of the Federal Government on the development of part of the main project with agreement on future joint activities for which they have the full support of the Federal Government and the Council of Ministers.

Prime Minister Novalić confirmed that construction of “fast” road will start and stressed the importance of issues of building hydropower plants in Ustikolina.

During the official visit, Novalić and representatives of the Federal Government also met with representatives of the coalition partners who participate in the government of BPC Gorazde and visited the facilities of the company “Emka Bosnia” and “Bekto Preciza”.

During the day Novalić and Džindić also met with representatives of entrepreneurs in the field of BPC.
