The Canton Sarajevo Ministry of Interior Police Directorate announced after the incident involving a group of migrants, in which one person was killed.
As reported by the Police Administration of the KS MUP, yesterday around 18:00, in the area of the municipality of Ilidža, there was a violation of public order and peace between several migrants, and then the use of firearms.
“On that occasion, one male person was killed. The doctor of the Institute for Emergency Medical Assistance of the Sarajevo Canton confirmed the death, in the area of the municipality of Novi Grad”, announced the police administration of the KS MUP.
They added that the investigation is carried out by police officers of the Police Department of the MUP of Sarajevo Canton, which is managed by the duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Sarajevo Canton.
“More information will be known after the completion of the investigation,” the statement added.
