The Kosovo police confirmed that the three attackers were killed in Banjska, Kosovo. Attackers killed a Kosovo policeman this morning.

One assailant was arrested, and four other suspects were also arrested, with radio devices found, as well as the identification of a large amount of weapons, ammunition and various equipment, writes Koha.

Also, according to the words of the Minister in the Government of Kosovo, Nenad Rašić, who spoke to Nova.rs, there are no indications that there will be a surrender, Klix.ba reports.

According to unofficial information, the number of killed attackers could be higher, given that the police action is ongoing.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, previously held a press conference where he announced that there were 30 heavily armed persons in the courtyard of the monastery in Banjska, and stated that they were not civilians, but military and police personnel.

We would like to remind you that one policeman was killed and two others were wounded in the north of Kosovo, three hours after midnight, on the night of Saturday and Sunday, the Kosovo Police announced detailing the case.

They point out that the rapid intervention unit of the border police noticed around 02:34 that at the entrance to the village of Banjska, i.e. across the bridge, two larger trucks, without license plates, were placed and that the road was blocked.

“The order units of the Zvečani police station, upon receiving the notification, reacted in connection with the case and set out with three units in the direction of the location where the blockade was reported. The police units encountered resistance, when they were shot at from several different positions from an arsenal of weapons, including hand grenades and grenades, during which two policemen were shot as a result of the shooting,” the police said, reports Kossev.info.
