Police officers of the Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, as part of the implementation of an operational-tactical action in the fight against the abuse of narcotic drugs, deprived 37-year-old S.K. from Sarajevo on grounds of suspicion that he had committed the crimes of Unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs and Aggravated theft.
Under the supervision of the prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Canton of Sarajevo and with the order of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, a personal search of the apartment and passenger vehicles used by S.K. was carried out, the CS MoI announced.
The search found and seized, among other things: one barrel with 11 (eleven) PVC packages containing a white substance, which in its appearance is associated with the narcotic drug speed – with a total gross weight of approximately 11,206 kilograms; one bag with 8 (eight) PVC packages containing a white substance whose appearance is reminiscent of the narcotic drug speed – with a total gross weight of approx. 8,069 kilograms; one PVC bag containing a brown substance that looks like heroin – total gross weight approx. 1.5 kilograms; one PVC box containing a dry herbaceous substance that looks like marijuana, packed in several packages – total gross weight approx. 510 grams; two PVC packets containing a white substance, which in its appearance is associated with the intoxicating drug speed; one PVC packet containing dry herbaceous matter, which in its appearance is associated with the intoxicating drug marijuana; more auto parts for BMW vehicles; and other items of interest for the investigation.
The street value of the confiscated narcotics is approximately 700,000 BAM.
The person was handed over to the Premises for Detention of Persons Deprived of Liberty of the MoI of Sarajevo Canton, and further criminal investigation will be conducted on him.
