MedicinaAn analysis of the ad published last year on portal posao.ba showed that doctors and medical staff are among the five most sought after positions when it comes to advertising job positions in foreign labor markets.

The gross wage of doctors beginning their careers in Germany is 4.000 Euros, while the highest salary belongs to doctors with more than 12 years of experience in a specialized field, which is around 6.700 Euros a month.

Besides Germany, in 2013 there was less demand for professionals from the medical field in Austria, Qatar and Dubai.

‘’According to information of the portal regarding the research salaries, in addition to B&H the salaries for markets of Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Serbia and Croatia was conducted, and showed that B&H is among one of the three countries whose doctors have the lowest salaries in the region. According to data based on more than 10.000 respondents, the average monthly net salary of a doctor is 1.287 BAM, 1.382 for a dentist, while the average net salary for a nurse is 850 BAM’’, said Project Manager of portal plata.ba Samra Mujanović.
