The six-year old boy Ajdin Zigonja managed to complete his goal. His family was able to collect the necessary funds for the operation in Istanbul that would return Ajdin’s normal life.
The information that the family Zigonja finally collected the necessary funds for the operation of six-year old Ajdin made all BH citizens happy, but also all of those who participated in recent months in the action of collecting money for treatment of this little hero.
Ajdin was born with a defect on his spine, and operations that took place in BiH did not help in his recovery. Then Ajdin’s father Elvis asked for estimation of costs from a hospital in Istanbul, which amounted to 45,000 EUR without travel and accommodation costs. Elvis said that they are now expecting a response from the clinic in Istanbul.
“Some portals wrote about Ajdin and his fight, among which klix.ba, and we managed to gather this amount since November. Now we are waiting for a response from the clinic and date to be determined by Dr. Ahmet Alanaj and we should, I hope, depart for Istanbul’s clinic Acibadem in January,” said Elvis and thanked everyone who participated in this humanitarian activity for Ajdin.
“I want to thank to all good people who helped me to raise money for my operation. I love you a lot,” said Ajdin.
