Trade and Tourism Minister Suzana Gasic and Republika Srpska Minister for European Integration and International Cooperation Zlatan Klokic spoke with Director of RS Airports Milan Racic about the possibility of establishing a direct airline between Banja Luka and Moscow.

The aim of establishing a direct airline between Banja Luka and Moscow is to improve cooperation and attract tourists from the Russian Federation to Republika Srpska, for which, according to analyzes conducted in the previous period, there is interest.

Gasic said that establishing a direct flight between RS and Russia is important for facilitating the arrival of Russian tourists, and reminded that activities are being carried out to promote RS on the Russian market.

In addition to the organization of the visit of Russian journalists, which took place from 10 to 15 October this year, cooperation with travel agencies and tour operators from Russia is planned for the next period.

Gasic said that the promotion plan envisages direct contact with the Russian market in order to bring the RS closer to Russian tourists.

The meeting stated that there were possibilities for introducing a charter flight between Banja Luka and Moscow, and that the Airport, in accordance with its capacities, was ready to respond to the requests of an air carrier expressing interest in establishing cooperation.
