The traditional tourism and gastro-cultural fair in Bijeljina will be held in April under the slogan “Posna trpeza slavska”, said the Director of the Tourist Organizations in this city Simo Laketić to SRNA.

Laketić recalled that last year at the fair there were 90 exhibitors and added that this year they expect the arrival of a much larger number of world tourist operators.

“The fair will be held on from 19-20 April in the ethno village “Stanišići”, which has become a tourist brand in Bijeljina. It will be a free exhibition space, and for participants of the manifestation accommodation is promised with a discount of 50 percent”, said Laketić.

The novelty for this year’s fair is the participation of students from the secondary vocational schools from Janja in the preparation of the tourist manifestation.

Laketić said that the students would be the promoters at the fair booths, and within school practice they would work on preparations of material and to promote the fair by contacting their peers in similar professions throughout the world.
