“Prevent” in Gorazde Produces Car Upholsteries for “Volkswagen Golf Sportsvan”

Prevent GorazdeFrom the beginning of this year “Prevent” in Gorazde started the production of car upholsteries for “Volkswagen Golf Sportsvan”. According to this company, textile and leather upholsteries will be produced and the same will be found in the current “Golf Plus”.

Otherwise, Prevent is celebrating two years of production in the town on the Drina river. They arrived in Gorazde in 2007 and employed 30 people. After further development, namely in 2011 they started car upholstery production and employed around 100 people, and in the end of the same year they had 520 people working. Later on, they continued the politics of employment and had a continuity of employing every month 40 additional people.

Today, Prevent in its production location in Gorazde employs more than 1100 workers situated in 3 production companies: Prevent Safety, Prevent Goražde and Prevent Components.

Prevent Safety is producing safety equipment, and the newly established member Prevent Components, which was established in November last year, is making plastic pieces for levers for the prestigious BMW. This newly established company, even though recently registered, has 60 employees.
