Prime Minister of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (HNK) Denis Lasić met yesterday in Mostar with the Ambassador of Germany in BIH Ulrike Maria Knotz.

Lasić presented the HNK and talked about the work of the Government and the planned activites.

He noted that the most important job of the Government is to determine the budget draft for 2013, and noted the serious financial situation, adding that with the global crisis, which did not miss the canton, significant influence has the unjust distribution of income from higher levels of government.

He also noted that HNK Government is doing everything in its power and competency to, through enacting new laws, create better conditions to improve the revenues.

They talked about all the current issues of HNK, and about the entire political situation in BiH which is in the centre of attention of both domestic and international public.

Ambassador Knotz thanked Lasić on his warm welcome, and expressed the wish to continue and further improve good cooperation between the Embassy of Germany and HNK Government in the times to come
