Professor of the Faculty of Economics Wins the Eminent Fulbright Visiting Scholarship

almirpestek_180711Sarajevo- Professor at the Marketing Department of the Faculty of Economics University of Sarajevo Almir Peštek won the eminent Fullbright postdoctoral scholarship awarded by the U.S. Department of State.

At the Loyola University Chicago – Quinlan School of Business, along with Professor Clifford Shultz, Peštek will work on a research project entitled “Improvement of effectiveness of marketing activities and competitiveness in tourism industry in Bosnia and Herzegovina”.

This project is, among other things, focused on the development of attractive and innovative tourist products, applying digital marketing tools in tourism and developing destination management in B&H.

The key qualifications of Professor Peštek are in the field of marketing, e-marketing and tourism.

His rich professional experience consists of lectures abroad and in the country and implementation of numerous local and international research and consulting projects. – was announced at the Faculty of Economics University of Sarajevo.
