He specified that the price of toll will be up to 2,5 BAM. “At the toll Jakupovci, the rough installation of equipment is in progress, which should be finished until the end of this week, while the working rehearsal is planned for the next week, as well as the practical training for workers who will work at the billing of tolls“, said Topic to reporters, after he visited works on this toll.

He added that the open toll system will be only at the beginning, and will include one main transient ramp on the highway, and is located in Jakupovci.

“With the increase in traffic volume, the open system will be changed with the closed system, so tolls will be placed at all approaches to the highway“, explained Topic.

He said that toll stations that were previously placed at the main road Banja Luka- Gradiska and are under the jurisdiction of the company “Roads of Republika Srpska“ will be possibly disassembled.

The leader of the project from the Institute “Mihajlo Pupin“, Zlatan Damjanovic said that the most advanced system which is being installed at the toll station Jakupovci allows paying tolls in cash and electronic.

Damjanovic mentioned that the same toll system was installed in Serbia, Montenegro and in the Federation of BiH at the highway Sarajevo-Zenica and towards Mostar.
