Vozni-parkThe government of Posavina canton has decided to prohibit the usage of official vehicles after the working time and for any private purposes, since 1 April in Posavina Canton.

“This decision on exercising the rights and the way to use the official vehicles at the budget users of Posavina Canton has waited almost 18 months to be adopted. Precisely, I have argued so much with minsters in regard to its adoption. Finally, we reached an agreement and it shall enter into force on 1 April. Protestors from the Plenum of citizens have required from the government to ban the use of official vehicles for private purposes, but the activities regarding to the adoption of this decision have been going on for months”, announced for Dnevni Avaz, the Prime Minister of Posavina canton Government, Marijan Oršolić.

This decision foresees that official vehicles can be used only for official purposes and can not be used to come to work or to leave work.

Official vehicles, after working time, should be parked at the parking lot of the government in Orašje, Police Department in Odžak and at the Posavina Canton Assembly in Domaljevac.

Ministers, as well as other government officials, in case of traveling out of Canton, have to submit the request to the Joint Service, to use the official vehicle at least 12 hours in advance to the trip, or at least two hours before the end of the working time if the trip is planned for the next day. All those who use the official vehicles, after finishing their business trip will have to return the vehicles to the specified parking lot and keys of the vehicle to give to the Joint Service.
