An agreement was signed in Banja Luka yesterday in the framework of the “Capacity Building Project to Improve Land Administration and Procedures in BiH” between representatives RS Geodetic Administration, FBiH and Sweden.

Sweden donated 2.8 million euros for this project.

The Directors of the Geodetic Administrations from the two entities and Directors of Property Affairs Tihomir Gligorić and Željko Obradović and Anđa Zimić, the Director of the project signed the Agreement.

She said that the capacity building project would provide better quality and more reliable data on real estate.

Zimić believes that BiH citizens would be able to register rights of ownership of real estate via the Internet for 5-6 years.

“This means that there would be no more lines”, said Zimić to journalists.

Željko Obradović recalled that the Delegation of the Geodetic Administrations of the FBiH and RS visited Sweden, a country that helps the Geodetic Administrations complete the process of determining ownership of property according to European standards by 2015.
