Proposal to investigate alleged Abuses during Vaccination in Sarajevo was not accepted

Today, the Assembly of the Sarajevo Canton did not accept the SDA’s party proposal to form a working body that would investigate the alleged abuses in the process of vaccination against coronavirus.

The proposal was explained by Haris Zahiragic, an SDA MP, who demanded that the emphasis be on the alleged abuses of officials.

“The Collegium of the Assembly is instructed to prepare a proposal of the Decision on the formation of a temporary working body for the next session of the Assembly, with the task of examining abuses in the vaccination process within a month, with a special focus on vaccination of elected and appointed officials in Sarajevo Canton,” he said.

It was proposed that the chairman of this working body be one of the opposition representatives and that the composition of the body reflect the party composition of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly.

We remind you that the opposition SDA previously asked the cantonal government to make a clear statement on whether there was any abuse on this issue. Among other things, they asked why six cantonal ministers were vaccinated with the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine in the government building and asked for an indication of whether the vaccination was carried out in a private polyclinic owned by Novo Sarajevo Mayor Hasan Tanovic.

Samir Suljevic, a representative of one of the ruling parties in the Sarajevo Canton of the SDP, also asked for a statement on these allegations, Klix.ba writes.
