The BiH Prosecutor’s Office issued an order to conduct an investigation against the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, due to the promulgation of the decree on the publication in the Official Gazette of the RS of the laws adopted by the National Assembly of the RS, which were previously annulled by the High Representative Christian Schimdt.

The order covers the Acting Official Gazette of the RS, Miloš Lukić, who signed the controversial laws published in the Official Gazette of the RS.

“In the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the aforementioned case, a team of three prosecutors was formed, who, together with the Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), as well as other security and police agencies, are undertaking activities provided for by law, the results of which will be notified to the public,” Boris Grubešić, spokesman for the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, told the “Raport” portal.

As announced, according to the order of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dodik and Lukić will be summoned for questioning, since all the necessary documentation was collected in the previous days.

On July 9, the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina formed a prosecution team after Dodik promulgated the decree on the promulgation of the law on non-publication of the decisions of the Constitutional Court and the High Representative in the Official Gazette of the RS.

Lukić then published those laws in the Official Gazette of the RS.

On July 1, High Representative Christian Schmidt used the “Bonn powers” and annulled those laws, adopted in the National Assembly of the RS.
