Tens of citizens gathered in front of the City Administration in Banja Luka. This is the second day that Banja Luka mayor Drasko Stanivukovic is gathering his supporters, and yesterday, due to the introduction of citizens into the premises of the City Administration, an extraordinary session of the Assembly was interrupted, where, among other things, problems in the company “Akvana” were to be discussed.

“I came from a family where I have enough and I am here to create works that will remain. The Assembly is not held for ninety days. The agenda was not adopted for three months. How can we work when there is no Assembly?” Stanivuković said.

Stanivuković promised the citizens that no building would be built on the site of the former Kozara cinema, which was supposed to be built by the investor “Cinema Tower”.

He drove the car of Assembly President Ljuba Ninković, which was recently confiscated, in front of the City Administration. The car is plastered with “stickers” on which, among other things, the word “non-worker” is written, reports Mondo.ba.

Stanivuković said that despite the obstructions of the parliamentary majority, he has the support of United Srpska and SPS.

“If this goes on indefinitely, we will go in front of the parties, the Government and the President’s Palace. If it does not bear fruit, I will sit down in front of the City Administration and strike until the issue of Banjaluka is resolved,” Stanivuković said.
