Protestors With Banners and Whistles

I DANAS DEMONSTRACIJE PRED PREDSJEDNIŠTVOMSeveral dozens of people gathered today in protest in afternoon in the Center of Sarajevo, across the street from the building of the B&H Presidency.

The traffic is not blocked.

Protestors have banners and whistles. They have brought a sound system through which they broadcast music. A middle aged man, in the rhythm of the loudspeakers hits a spoon on a small bowl, imitating the sounds of a drum. Citizens have brought art works, caricatures of the current politicians and placed them on the sidewalk or set upright with boxes and piles of city lights.

Near the traffic light a large banner is set, with a distinctive message for drivers to honk if they are against corruption in society. Some drivers do so and protestors “greet” them with whistles.

Today a lot of people stopped to see the “decor” of the protests or watch the gathering near the park.
