Protests in front of the Fish Factory in Stolac due to Pollution

In front of the Žuvela fish market on Radimlja near Stolac, the residents of the surrounding villages gathered to once again point out the problems that this company creates for them.

Due to, according to the locals, non-compliance with a series of regulations that this company has been violating for years, an unbearable stench spreads from the fish market, especially in the summer months.

They say that a year has passed since they contacted the authorities, but nothing has been done to date.

They once again called on the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo, the Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs, the responsible ministry of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, the Institute for the Protection of Cultural and Historical Heritage, to listen to this call and do something about this problem.

They remind that the fish market is located in the immediate vicinity of the necropolis of the Stećaks of Radimlje, which, the disgruntled locals point out, is against all the rules.
