srebrenica_gradProtests of Srebrenica citizens will start in April at the main square of the Memorial Center in Potočari, decided by the Initial Committee in regard to the organization of protests. The meeting was initiated by representatives of many associations from Srebrenica region, among which is the Association of Mothers of Srebrenica and Podrinja.

The first requirement of the protests is the replacement of the RS flag from the Memorial Center with the B&H flag. Besides this, they require the implementation of the decision of the International Court of Justice in the Hague, which has proved and confirmed the genocide in the Srebrenica region.

The Initial Committee seeks a complete revision of privatization and an investigation into the grant expenditure in the area of this region. Also, requirements are related to the launch of a lawsuit to determine damages to the citizens of Srebrenica region and analysis of the management operations until now in the Memorial Center Potočari.

Also, a report on the operation of previous municipal structures will be required, and protests will start under the slogan: “Death to the Dayton apartheid and tyranny, freedom of honorable people”.
