Radončić, Osmić and Đapo appointed as new members of the Council of Ministers

House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of B&H has appointed new members of the Council of Ministers from the SBB and SDP political parties.  For the appointment of Fahrudin Radončić for the Minister of Security, Zekerijah Osmić for the Minister of Defence and Edita Đapo for the Deputy Minister for Finance and Treasury of B&H voted 29 officials, and only 9 were against this decision. The new ministers already took their oaths and assumed their functions. These newly appointed ministers have taken the place of former ministers and deputy ministers from the SDA political party, who were dismissed of their duties on one of the previous sessions of the House of Representatives.
The appointment of new ministers was preceded by a discussion about this point on the agenda. From the SDA Club they clarified how they will vote against the appointment of the new ministers. Šefik Džaferović also pointed out the SDA already asked for the” return” of the mandate to the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, because of the reconstruction of the Council of Ministers. Because this did not happen, Džaferović presented his own evaluation of the reconstruction of the Council of Ministers as ” not being in accordance with the Constitution of B&H”. The members of the SDA Club still think that the old mandate should be brought back and that only then, with SDA in the parliamentary majority, they could support the appointment of the new ministers.
