RCC and GIZ Agreed on Cooperation to Promote Foreign Trade, Energy Efficiency, Legal Reform and Municipal Services Modernization

GIZThe Secretariat of the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) and the German Organization for International Cooperation Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) signed yesterday in Sarajevo a Memorandum of Understanding in cooperation in the area of the promotion of foreign trade, energy efficiency, legal reform and the modernization of municipal services. The agreement provides for cooperation between the Secretariat of the Council and GIZ until 31 March 2016, announced RCC.

‘’Attention will be placed on activities set out and the work program of the Council for the period 2014-2016 where the strategy ‘Southeast Europe (JIE) 2020’ is its main backbone’’, said General Secretary of the Council for Regional Cooperation Goran Svilanović.

‘’The agreement will enhance cooperation between these two organizations with regard that the Council and GIZ support countries from the region in their efforts to join the EU’’.
