After the Memorandum of Cooperation on the realization of the project Mine and Thermal power plant Kamengrad (RiTA Kamengrad) between the Chinese company and the company Lager from Posusje, which owns the project, was signed in November last year in Budapest, followed conversations on the technical details of the project.

On this occasion, representatives of China Energy Group visited the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA) with the aim of further support for the realization of this investment.

“The project has full support of all ministries at the level of the FBiH and BiH, and the meetings will follow in the future period. The final agreement on realization of this investment should be signed in June at the Summit 16 + 1, the ministerial conference dedicated to the promotion of trade and economic cooperation between China and 16 countries from the Central and Eastern European region,” as stated from FIPA.

It was also added that they will continue supporting the aforementioned project, whose value was estimated at 1 billion and 20 million BAM.
