On September 21 2014, the Sarajevo Half-Marathon will be held for the eight time, and more than 1.000 people from more than 30 countries are expected to take part.
Traditionally, this event will be a humanitarian one, and the International Day Without Automobiles will be marked. As part of the half-marathon, the Fun Run Race/Walk of 4 km will take place, which will also gather several hundred participants.
‘’The half-marathon is the greatest sports event in B&H. The route includes the most beautiful parts of the city, as well as the cultural and historical characteristics of Sarajevo. An important element during the event will the promotion of a healthy lifestyle and the development of tourism, because several hundred foreign guests will be here’’, said Director of the NGO Marathon Erol Mujanović.
