Recording of a Documentary about Tombstones in Preparation

tombstones filmAssociation for visual arts Fenix Art from Banja Luka, is the holder of the project about medieval tombstones within the project “Dialogue for the future“ implemented by the UNDP, UNICEF and UNESCO in the partnership with the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The project involves the preproduction, production and the postproduction of  the documentary-animated film about tombstones.

“The pre-production phase in in progress and it should be finished in June. The project encourages the development of the production of animated film, and the film should be shown at the International Festival of Animated Film in Banja Luka. Locations at which the film will be recorded are sites of large necropolis: Stolac, Jablanica, Konjic, Sarajevo and Kupres“, as said from Fenix Art.

Based on the joint initiative of the Presidency of BiH and the Secretary General of the United Nations, as well as the recognized need for creating a space for the dialogue and the promotion of the co-existence in BiH, the team of the UN in BiH, led by the resident coordinator of the UN and in the cooperation with the Presidency of BiH developed the project “Dialogue for the future: Promotion of the co-existence and differences in BiH“.
