The BiH Council of Ministers has completed the implementation of the project in redesigning the websites of 21 BiH institutions based on the e-government system.

The redesigned websites are easier to navigate, and what is particularly important is that it is adopted for people with special needs according to the W3C standards (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).

This way the user can change the size of the letters, type of letters or choose different design templates whose colors, pictures and letters are fully customized for people who are color-blind.

The project also included an optimization of databases, which allows for faster access to the site and to the data, as well as an increase in number of users that can simultaneously access the websites.

Also, security has been upgraded and now the websites are accessed via HTTPS protocols.

New modules were also added, as well as enhanced operation and a new photo gallery, improved search engine, and web statistics that will be tied to Google analytics and CMS statistics.

The institutions for which redesigns were made and an improvement in functionality are the BiH Council of Ministers, Office of the Chairman of Council of Ministers, Ministry of Communication and Transport, Ministry of Civil Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Justice, Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees, Directorate for European Integration, Agency for Promotion of Foreign Investment, Directorate for Economic Planning, Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies, Institute for Meteorology, and the State Commission in cooperation with UNESCO.

Apart from that, the new institutions that will be an integral part of the web-portal of the Council of Ministers and for which the transfer of content on the new platform are the BiH Ministry of Defense, Veterinary office, Agency for Personal Data Protection, BiH Attorney General’s Office and the BiH Presidency.
