Relations between BiH and Switzerland are traditionally good, Cooperation in many Areas

The Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Denis Bećirović, received the letter of credence from the newly appointed Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gabriel Derighetti.

Bećirović confirmed that the relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Swiss Confederation are traditionally very good and are reflected in cooperation in numerous areas, based on partnership relations.

It was established that the economic relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Swiss Confederation are good and that the two countries have a balanced trade exchange.

Stating that both countries are multi-ethnic and multicultural, Bećirović pointed out that the experiences of the Swiss Confederation are valuable for Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially how a successful country can be built through dialogue and common interest.

It was emphasized that the Bosnian diaspora in the Swiss Confederation is a bridge of cooperation between the two countries.

At the end of the ceremony, the Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Denis Bećirović, wished a successful diplomatic mission to the newly appointed ambassador of the Swiss Confederation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gabriel Derighetti, the Public Relations Service of the BiH Presidency announced.
