Renfroe arrives in Sarajevo and joins the BiH national team

Alex Renfroe, an American basketball player and naturalized citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, (BiH) arrived today in Sarajevo and joined the rest of the national basketball team in training.

Renfroe will train with the rest of our national basketball team, which is now led by the new trainer Duško Vujošević.

He didn’t play for B&H in the qualifying round for Eurobasket, a decision that was announced after a physical exam was conducted. The BABH announced in August of last year that the basketball player had valid medical documentation and that he needed medical treatment.

Two weeks after a victory over Belorussia in a friendly match played in Sarajevo this week, the BiH national team will compete in a preparatory tournament in Macedonia, which is a part of the preparations for prequalification for the World Basketball Championship in which our national team will play against Armenia, Slovakia, and Sweden in August.
