The government of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Republika Srpska (RS) entity will provide 500 tonnes of wheat for all public kitchens in the entity, meeting their annual needs for bread.

Based on the government’s decision, this aid will be distributed to all 15 public kitchens in the RS, serving about 3,570 users.

Wheat was provided from a contingent previously procured by the entity government as part of intervention procurement.

At the same time, all public kitchens will, based on the decision of the RS Government, receive additional assistance for their users in the form of canned food, oil, sugar and salt.

On Thursday, at the 166th session of the RS Government, on the occasion of the Easter holidays, a one-time aid of 375,000 BAM was paid to all public kitchens.
