Today, Republika Srpska marks January 9 – RS Day. The President of the Republika Srpska, Zeljka Cvijanovic, said that the celebration this year was adjusted to the epidemiological situation, and the ceremonial parade, as decided at the Organizing Committee, was postponed to June 28 this year.
This year’s celebration of the Republic Day begins with the Holy Hierarch’s Liturgy in the Church of Christ the Savior in Banja Luka.
As part of the celebrations in Banja Luka, decorations will be awarded to deserving institutions and individuals, and a music parade of the Police Orchestra and a ceremonial academy are also planned.
