On the first day of the Coffee and Chocolate Fair in Tuzla, after the ceremonial opening, which was made official by a traditional “srk” of coffee “welcome” at the very entrance to the Croatian Cultural Center “Sveti Franjo”, several hundred citizens of Tuzla enjoyed top quality coffee and chocolate delicacies.

“This is the fulfillment of my lifelong dream that I have been dreaming for a long time,” said Edis Bajić, creator and organizer of the Fair.

In addition to him, the Consul General of the Republic of Croatia in Tuzla Ivan Bandić, Director of the Tuzla Tourist Board Amra Jaganjac, Minister of Education and Science of Tuzla Canton Ahmed Omerović addressed the attendees at the opening, while the Fair itself was declared open by the Mayor of Tuzla Zijad Lugavić.

In the fun part of the program, guests were entertained by children from the Lege Artis children’s choir, Nata Bagarić, Zlatan Mujkić and Irma Hasić with the band.

Six exclusive coffee brands, 15 handmade chocolatiers, cakes and other sweets… delighted the visitors, according to the organizers.

A new gathering at the Coffee and Chocolate Fair has already been announced for today, and visitors, in addition to tastings, can expect numerous expert lectures, starting at 8 p.m., and the first edition of the quiz with Dean Kotig.

A special session of the Association for Trade, Hospitality and Tourism and the Association of Travel Agencies of the Tuzla Cantonal Chamber of Commerce will be held as a form of support for this fair.

The coffee and chocolate fair is held from May 16 to 18 in Tuzla at the Croatian Cultural Center “Sveti Franjo”, and admission to the fair and all accompanying events is free, Fena writes.
