trebinjeAt the session of the Commission for preservation of national monuments, the Chairman of the Commission Amir Pašić and members Goran Milojević and Radoje Vidović considered and adopted proposals on amendments to the following decisions on declaration of national monuments of BiH: site and remains of the architectural unit Resulbegović House in Trebinje, architectural unit Church of the Holy Virgin Mary in Zenica, and the architectural site – remains of Tašlihan in Sarajevo.

Amendments to the mentioned decisions refer to the measures of protection prescribed for every national monument. Amendments become effective on the following day after the day of publishing in the Official Gazette of BiH.

At the same session, the Commission reached one negative decision according to which the facility Kula in Tomina, Municipality of Sanski Most, does not meet criteria for declaring it a national monument of BiH.

Over the past 14 years, the Commission reached 977 decisions (820 positive and 157 negative decisions). A large number of those decisions refers to the protection of architectural units, historical and archaeological sites, and archives and collections, so that the number of individual units that are under protection on the basis of decisions by the Commission amounts to several thousand movable and immovable monuments.
