Sarajevo’s Wilson Promenade from today until August 6 will be marked by the Sarajevo Street Food Market.

This festival of good food and music has prepared a rich music program and gastronomic offer for all citizens of Sarajevo, as well as all visitors, the organizers announce.

The market will gather as many as 24 renowned food exhibitors in one place, and specialties will be prepared especially for this occasion.

The Street Food Market will be opened with a concert by Aleksandra Radović. During the first week, other well-known performers will perform, such as the Banja Luka band Ultrazvuk, the Croatian pop diva Vanna, and the Sarajevo singer Mirza Pandur.

On Saturday, July 29, all-day entertainment will be provided by the Sarajevo Matinee team, which organizes popular electronic music events combined with various artistic performances.

Sunday, July 30, is reserved for the concert of Željko Samardžić.

The Street Food Market is intended for visitors of all ages, so even the youngest will be able to enjoy numerous workshops and performances. Also, the entire area of the Market will be five friendly zones.

Entry to all Street Food Market events is free, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Canton Sarajevo.

The relevant minister, Kenan Magoda, said that everyone is welcome to this gastro-musical event, which, he said, will surely mark this summer in Sarajevo.

“Sarajevo is known for its good gastronomy and great entertainment. I am extremely proud that we provided free entry to the Street Food Market to the citizens of Sarajevo, but also to all visitors. Therefore, tickets are not required, only good will and a positive mood. The festival is intended for everyone and thanks to the organizers and the varied program, everyone will find something for themselves,” said Magoda, according to the Protocol and Press Service of Canton Sarajevo.
