The “Little Programmer” programming school held a Robotics Night in the central town square in Travnik last night. The event attracted a large number of visitors of all ages, from children to adults interested in technology and innovation. Visitors had the opportunity to meet different robots, participate in interactive demonstrations, and learn more about programming and the projects developed by this school.

Through such activities, the “Mali Programmer” school continues to encourage children and young people to develop STEM skills, programming knowledge, and creative thinking, thereby contributing to the popularization of technology and technical culture in the local community.

Nordin Jakupović from the “Mali Programmer” school said that around 200 children in Travnik and Novi Travnik are attending various programming courses.

“In Travnik and Novi Travnik, we have almost 200 children enrolled in the programming school for various programming and robotics courses. We gathered the children here to show them what robotics is, to introduce them to the world of programming and robotics, and to show what our school offers. We have ensured the conditions for us to work with 40 children in parallel on various activities, robots, VR sets. To simply bring them closer to what robotics itself would be, because it is currently the largest industry, the fastest and most developing,” said Jakupović.

Zara Imširović, a successful young student at the programming and robotics school, was in charge of the youngest age groups.

“Children can develop their logical skills through assembling Lego bricks, learning how to operate drones and various robots. We are glad that the interest of children, but also parents, is really great,” said Imširović.

The Robotics Night was held as part of this year’s event “Travnik Diaspora Days 2026”, Fena writes.
