The Minister of Finance of Republika Srpska stated that the payment of a health allowance for medical workers of 250 BAM will begin today.

“A decision was made at a session of the Government of Republika Srpska that the Health Insurance Fund of Republika Srpska, based on the law adopted at the previous session of the National Assembly, will correct its acts so that this allowance can come into force,” Vidović said at a press conference in Banja Luka.

She stated that a total of around 43 million BAM will need to be allocated for this expenditure from April 1st until the end of the year.

Vidović added that the funds for a five percent salary increase for health workers will be provided from the republican budget.
