The RS government made a decision to accept EU donor funds for a water supply and sanitation project in the RS in the amount of 10 million euros.
The goal of the project is the construction and improvement of the infrastructure of water supply and canalization on the territory of the RS in order to protect public health, the environment, and to develop capacity of the republic and municipal bodies for the preparation and management of investment programs, announced from the entity government.
Donor funds will be used for the preparation of studies, designs, provision of diagnostic equipment, renovation, improvement or construction of water supply infrastructure, water supply systems, expansion of facilities for the treatment of drinking water, wastewater collection systems, plants for wastewater treatment, monitoring and technical assistance.
The beneficiaries of the donor funds are municipalities in the RS, and the total amount of the project is 100.000.000 euros.
