Šamac: Boarder Crossing Open for Passengers Traffic

granični prelaz ŠamacInterstate boarder crossing Šamac opened this morning for passengers traffic. This boarder was closed since 16 May due to the catastrophic floods.

The Mayor of municipality Šamac Savo Minić in a statement for Fena said that along with all the activities that they did in cleaning up the city, they managed to rehabilitate the consequences of the floods at the boarder crossing as well and this morning finally the boarder crossing is putted into operation.

Minić expressed his confidence that after removing certain technical difficulties, this boarder crossing in the next days should be open even for cargo traffic as well.

The rail transport is not yet putted into operation because of the damages caused by floods.
