[wzslider autoplay=”true”] The second international diving competition ”Sarajevo Bentbasa 2016″ was held yesterday in the capital of BiH, on Miljacka River.

The best jumpers in the region showed their jumps from a 16 meter high platform again this year. About 20 divers from Montenegro, Serbia and BiH responded to the invitation by organizers.

Member of the Association “Become and stay fit PRO-FIT” Sarajevo and organizer of jumps Dino Bajric, said that competitors from Slovenia did not respond this year, but all other aspects of the competition, with an emphasis on safety, were satisfactory.

“Members of the Federal Civil Protection in collaboration with members of the Sports and Recreational Club ”Neretva ” from Konjic are taking care about safety of our competitors. The most important for us it that the security aspect of the competition is at the highest level. Our long-term goal is to grow this competition in a tradition that will further enrich the tourist offer of the capital city of BiH,” said Bajric.

These are the athletes who have achieved the best results during the entire diving season, from the beginning of June until the final platform in Sarajevo, said Bajric.

At last year’s event, the city of Sarajevo presented itself as a new destination for this type of extreme sports, and caused a positive reaction of citizens and the media all across the country.
