Sarajevo Canton Assembly decides on Shortening of Class Hours in Primary and Secondary Schools

The Sarajevo Canton Assembly adopted today at its session in Sarajevo the initiative on shortening the hours in primary and secondary schools in the Sarajevo Canton during the month of Ramadan.

Representatives of the CS Assembly accepted the initiative of Muamer Bandić (SBiH) to shorten classes in primary and secondary schools in Sarajevo Canton from March 29 to April 24 and provide all students and teachers with free time for iftar dinner during the month of Ramadan.

The initiative tasking the Ministry of Education to implement this decision was voted for by 23 representatives, with one vote against and two abstentions.

The CS Ministry of Education will subsequently provide instructions on how this initiative will be implemented.
