Sarajevo Hospital to send Teams to Turkey

After the devastating earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria yesterday, five medical teams were formed at the General Hospital “Prim. Dr. Abdulah Nakaš”, consisting of doctors of various specialties and medical technicians.

These are professional staff of the General Hospital who have volunteered and showed solidarity with the Turkish people in this tragedy on a global scale and are ready to leave for Turkey as soon as the approval of the authorities arrives, it was announced today from the General Hospital “Prim. Dr. Abdulah Nakaš”.

The medical team is headed by prof.  Ismet Gavrankapetanović, Ph.D., director of this health institution, and the teams include specialists in orthopedics, emergency medicine, general surgeons, anesthesiologists, an infectious disease specialist, an epidemiologist, a nephrologist, a pulmonologist, as well as most experienced medical technicians.
