Sarajevo Hosts the 1st Humanitarian Festival Balkan Arts “Spiritus Progenitum”

spiritusThe first humanitarian festival Balkan arts “Spiritus Progenitum”will open on 25 November at the Historical Museum in Sarajevo and the special guest from Zagreb, the painter Tomislav Dobrijević will open this event.

The exhibition “Balkanski duh” (Balkan spirit) that consists of art work  from academic painter Jasmin Pehlivanović, the artist Rado Babica and the illustrator Ana Dominik Rodić will open this festival. Also, the promotion of books “Konvoj za Sarajevo” and “Južno od Pekosa” by the author Neven Kazazović will take place. This exhibition is dedicated to Balkan beauty.

The aim of this festival is to bring together creative people from Balkans so they can present their art works but to also express their ideas and feelings for the Balkans as their homeland. The Festival will end on 7 December.
