Sarajevo Mayor welcomed the Olympians at the Airport

The mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karić, welcomed the famous skaters Sanda Dubravčić Šimunjak and Katarina Witt, and the president of the International Ice Hockey Federation, Luca Tardif, to the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Gabriela Soukalová, Květa Pecková and Blanka Paulů, winners of medals at the Sarajevo Olympics in cross-country skiing, also arrived at Sarajevo Airport today.

Jure Franko and Bojan Križaj also arrived in Sarajevo, and Mateja Svet is also expected to arrive.

“Together we will mark the 40th anniversary of the Winter Olympic Games in Sarajevo and remind all our fellow citizens of the golden sports history of our beloved city!”, announced the Mayor Karić’s office.
