Sarajevo records New Cases of Covid-19

In Canton Sarajevo, 58 newly infected persons with coronavirus were confirmed in the past 24 hours. These are the results of laboratory tests of 421 samples collected from October 10 to 12 this year.

Out of the mentioned number of newly infected, 37 people, ie 63.79 percent, belong to family clusters or contacts of previously ill, and they are in self-isolation from before.

In the previous 24 hours, the recovery of 27 people was recorded, so that the number of active cases of coronavirus infection is currently 379.

There are 46 people on hospital treatment in the Isolator of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo in Podhrastovi, three of whom use mechanical respirator support when breathing, and seven of them were discharged from this hospital treatment during the previous 24 hours.

There were no new deaths recorded, so the death toll in Canton Sarajevo is still 87.

To date, 5,087 infected persons have been confirmed in Sarajevo Canton, of whom 4,621 have recovered from COVID infection. There are 891 people in self-isolation, BHRT reports.
